Thank you!! Bruno & Aga Barberini on behalf of BluLine S.r.l. thank everybody who made possible to realise the 2nd Edition of Jockey Cup 2008. In particular we say thank you to Merano Maia S.p.A., all the Presidency and Board of Directors, to the Organisation and to all Adepts and Operators, to Sponsor & Partners. The day of the event was sunny in all the valley at the beginning but in the afternoon there was a lot of rain. Although the bad weather and thanks to the great organisation end extraordinary performance of Irish Jockeys, their great professionalism and spirit, the championship was a success and its winner was the Jockey Team Ireland and its components received the Totosì Trophy. In particular, Kevin Manning was appointed as Top Jockey, thanks to his highest score.

Here we are! August 15th , 2. 30 p.m. a while before the event starts. The Presentation Paddock seemed desert but dressed for the occasion with banners of the Event and Sponsor & Partners, who supported all the display, pouring funds into the Championship Jackpot and sustaining the organization costs for that extraordinary racing meeting. Besides Jockey Cup, HP delle Alpi, the 1st Class Handicap and LR EBF delle Terme di Merano, were in the programme that day and it will be commented below.

Wonderful audience! Over 3000 "contributing" spectators filled the tribunes of Meran Racecourse. Big curiosity to see in person some of the most awarded jockeys in the world, who for their the competition spirit in the name of the one’s Nation, fought under rain for Jockey Cup 2008, the of which chronicle, facts, testimonials, photos and movies you can find in under-sections of Story Day 2008.

Also the Authorities Tribune was full of highlighted Personalities & Representatives of the world of Italian Gallop, maybe a little surprised that Michael Kinane & Company come into the "Obstacles Kingdom" to ride in flat together with our best currently active Jockeys. The Authorities Tribune, wholly sponsored by Totosì-The Official Sponsor, saw also the presence of the Olympic Games Participant – Susanna Bordone – coming back from Beijing 2008. Now everybody is in and the Jockey Cup can get started!
